Wave is the first Japanese mini album by IVE. It was released on May 31, 2023 with the song "WAVE" serving as the title track.

The physical album is available in 10 versions: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, Limited Edition C, Regular Edition, and a Full Production Limited DIVE Edition of which includes six member-specific versions -- of which will only be available for DIVE Japan members.

Background

On April 1, 2023, the mini album's release date, title, and format were revealed through an official announcement made via IVE's official Japanese Twitter account.[1]

Commercial Performance

On June 6, 2023, Oricon Chart reported that the mini album had sold 92,000 copies within its first week of release, therefore earning IVE their first-ever #1 work on the chart.[2] Three days later, on June 9, Wave was certified Gold by the RIAJ for surpassing 100,000 copies sold on the Oricon Chart.[3]
