Introduction
| “ |
"IVE, who has colored the greatest moments of K-pop with distinct colors, presents a dramatic twist.
IVE's identity is defined by independent confidence and assertiveness. By adding a unique charm to this, he has attempted another variation. It is a change of conviction embraced at the optimal time. IVE, who has always demonstrated self-fulfillment with a confident attitude, signals a new beginning with a sophisticated and stylish endeavor. Confident expressions and poses, the distinctive voices of members with diverse colors, and confident music continue to lead IVE to a refined style and perfect teamwork. Their forward-looking journey will redefine IVE at this very moment. If the previous work revealed 'herself' through various perspectives, this album expands her identity by bringing out another self through a new storytelling style. By portraying existing story genres such as folklore and transformation stories from IVE's own new perspective, one can see IVE's character newly expanded within these variations. The title track "HEYA," which features lyrics based on Iveman's folktale "The Tiger Who Loved the Sun," presents a fresh take on the genre by combining powerful hip-hop with lyrics from a legend that highlights Eastern aesthetics. The double title track 'Accendio' is set to present an image of IVE transformed through a spell, set to music with a mysterious atmosphere. The two concepts, unfolding according to contrasting moods and styles, are sufficient to pique interest. While penetrating IVE's unique identity and her proactive attitude toward love, the song effectively unravels her distinct charms in two different ways. It is their own unique storytelling that presents various variations under a single theme. The music once again showcases the irreplaceable IVE style, with hit lyricist Seo Ji-eum and Dynamic Duo's Gaeko lending their support. Additionally, member Jang Wonyoung wrote lyrics with a unique sensibility. An undeniable dream team came together to attractively elevate IVE's new identity and image. The second mini-album [IVE SWITCH] is an extension of the previous album and a signal of expansion that reveals 'another me.' The diverse expressions and the aura emanating from IVE further broaden the identity and deliver a massive impact. The newly unfolding image of infinite expansion and the new style that offers the thrill of a twist will surely hit everyone's taste." |
